The holiday season has arrived, with Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday already in the rear-view mirror. Although I celebrated Buy Nothing Day on Friday, my mother and daughter more than made up for my parsimony. Sometimes, though, waiting for a week or so leads to the best sale opportunities.

It’s a great price if you’re feel like taking a chance on a genre — verse novels or historical fiction — that’s not your main read. Moonwalking has received four starred reviews from the most respected trade journals and is on several end-of-year “best books” lists. Moonwalking is also available in hardcover and in an audiobook edition. Because many of the poems are concrete poems — arranged in shapes of significant objects or patterns — I recommend listening to the audiobook along with the text. And a $2.99 e-book is perfect for doing this!
